Impactful Outcomes for Our Students

A High-Performing Education

Compared to their peers, our students are three times more likely to be on grade level in reading by the end of fifth grade.

Academic Achievement

Our students are twice as likely to attend college as compared to their peers attending other schools.

Closing the Achievement Gap

We are not just excelling in comparison to similar schools; our students are narrowing the achievement gap with more affluent peers across the state.

Transforming Lives and Communities

Since its inception in 2011, Navigator Schools has been a beacon of hope and excellence in the educational landscape, particularly in agricultural communities. Our network of four high-performing public charter schools has made significant strides in redefining quality education for over 2,200 TK-8 students, with around 600 graduates to date. Our focus is not just on academic achievements but on shaping learners and leaders who will thrive in high school, college, and beyond.

Why We Matter

Our focus is on a demographic often overlooked: students in agricultural and exurban communities. While urban centers receive much attention and funding, we recognize the growing need in less visible areas and are committed to supporting our students to exceed expectations. At Navigator Schools, our students are gaining the skills and knowledge needed to fulfill their dreams and make a difference in the world.

Celebrating Academic Outcomes

  • Demographics Served: Our student population consists of 66% socio-economically disadvantaged and 80% Latinx students, historically underrepresented and underserved in educational settings.

  • Achievement Against Odds: Despite prevailing statistics indicating lower academic achievements in our primary demographics, our students are consistently outperforming their peers. They are three times more likely to be on grade level in reading by the end of fifth grade and twice as likely to attend college.

  • Closing the Achievement Gap: If you compare our students who are socio-economically disadvantaged against their non-socio-economically disadvantaged counterparts across the state, we are measurably closing gaps in achievement.
