PUBLIC NOTICE

Navigator Schools (Navigator) is requesting bids from (A) or (B) licensed general contractors for its Gilroy Prep School Portable Relocation and Site Work Project which is located at 277 IOOF Avenue, Gilroy, CA. 95020.

This Project is state-funded by Proposition 51, part of the Charter School Facilities Program (CSFP) through the Office of Public-School Construction (OPSC). As such, it must comply with state agency requirements including (but not limited to) California Department of Education (CDE), Division of the State Architect (DSA), California Public Contract Code (PCC ) and possibly the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC).

A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 277 IOOF Avenue, Gilroy CA ,95020. The question-and-answer deadline is no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 26, 2024. All questions must be e-mailed to:

All bids shall be made and presented only on the forms provided by Navigator. The engineer’s estimate for this project is $2,600,000.00 Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code, and be licensed to perform the work called for in the Contract Documents. The successful bidder must possess a valid and active Class A or B License at the time of bid and throughout the duration of this Contract. The Contractor’s California State License number shall be clearly stated on the bidder’s proposal. Bidders must be prequalified by the Gilroy Unified School District. Subcontractors shall be licensed pursuant to California law for the trades necessary to perform the Work called for in the Contract Documents, and prequalified by the Gilroy Unified School District. Bids are due no later than 5:00 PM Tuesday April 11, 2024. Electronic submissions will be submitted and addressed as follows:

Any bids received after the time specified above or after any extensions due to material changes may be rejected.
